The Inaugural Who Got Next Showcase Tournament
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, Who Got Next Inc. hosted its inaugural Showcase Tournament at Baruch College. The energy in the gym was electric as six premier 16U and 17U programs from across New York and New Jersey competed for a championship title, high-level exposure, and recruitment opportunities.
As a nonprofit organization dedicated to the personal and professional development of current and former student-athletes, this event was always about more than just basketball. It was about creating concrete opportunities, building community, and investing heavily in the next generation.
The Competition The tournament featured high-level talent from across the East Coast, with the following programs bringing their absolute best to the court:
BR Elite (New Jersey)
Unsung Yutes (New York)
NY Select Academy (New York)
Positive Direction (Queens County)
Level Up LI (Long Island, NY)
Team Viper NYC (New York, NY)
College coaches and supporters lined the sidelines from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, scouting the deep pool of talent on display and watching these athletes take their games to the next level.
Tournament MVPs While the competition was fierce across every game, two standout athletes earned MVP honors by leading their respective age groups in scoring and making an undeniable impact every time they stepped on the floor:
Isaiah Ross (Class of '27) – Achievement First Brooklyn HS (NY) / Team Viper NYC
Bryce Kimbrough (Class of '28) – St. Raymond HS for Boys (NY) / Unsung Yutes
We are incredibly proud to recognize Isaiah and Bryce for their hard work, talent, and competitive spirit. The future is bright for both of these student-athletes, and we look forward to following their journeys.
